I grew up in the North East and have been happily settled in South Oxfordshire for many years now, where I live with my family and our very needy black Labrador, Oscar! We love getting out and about — walking, visiting the coast, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. I also love entertaining friends and family whenever I get the chance, and I’m involved in our local community through voluntary work.
I’m a qualified, experienced civil celebrant — and a friendly northern woman through and through!
People are at the heart of everything I do. I love getting to know new couples and families, hearing your stories, and listening carefully to what matters most to you. My aim is always to tick as many of your boxes as possible and create a ceremony that feels completely right for you — personal, meaningful, and full of heart.
I specialise in bespoke ceremonies that reflect who you are — your passions, your values, and your story. Whether it’s a wedding, vow renewal, naming ceremony or a farewell, I work with warmth, sensitivity and care to create something truly memorable. And if you're hoping for something light, uplifting, and full of appropriate humour? You're absolutely speaking my language.
I spent over 35 years in the Games and Toy Industry — managing sales teams, arranging large exhibitions, and presenting to people from all walks of life. It turns out all those years of listening to stories, bringing ideas to life, and organising memorable events were the perfect training ground for celebrancy! The skills I developed then now help me craft ceremonies that are creative, engaging and beautifully tailored to each person I work with.
